6- The foreigner’s residence in Egypt must be for a purpose other than tourism.
7- The age of the husband and wife should not be less than 21 years.
8- The foreigner presents two certificates issued by the competent authority in the country whose nationality he holds or from its consulate in the Arab Republic of Egypt, one of which states that he does not object to marriage, and the other includes data on his date of birth, religion, profession, country of residence and marital status, in terms of previous marriage and the number of wives Children, his financial condition and sources of income, provided that each of the two certificates is ratified by the competent Egyptian authorities.
9- Each of the spouses must submit his birth certificate. If this is not possible, the foreigner must submit any official document that replaces it, and the Egyptian woman must submit an official copy of the birth record.
